Paath
- Japji Sahib is the first paath in
nitnem (daily routine). This paath contains the teachings
of the first Guru, Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Japji Sahib is almost always
preceeded by the mool mantar. The
mool mantar tells about the Lord. "There is one and only one God. He is
the eternal truth. He is the creator of all we see, hear and feel. He is
fearless. He has no enemies. He is immortal. He is what He is because of
Himself. He can be understood only through the blessings of a true (sincere)
Guru."
